THE HIGHEST PLANT IN EUROPE - 4.552 mt s.l.m
The shelter, which opened Sept. 4, 1893, is dedicated to Queen Margaret, Queen of Italy at the time, lies within the group of Monte Rosa, in an ecosystem as delicate as important for man and nature. Our company ITTAS-SEGU' was part of the team who participated in the restructuring of companies dealing in the "air handling" required for heating the shelter using its know-how. This plant (still innovative) has been replaced in the summer of 2006 after 26 years of perfect operation.
